1st Establishment Conference
The 1st Establishment Conference of the MW COE was held in Poljče and Bled, Slovenia, between 12 and 14 May 2014. The Conference was attended by the representatives of 12 respected Nations (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Serbia, and Switzerland).
The initiative to transform the current Multi-Nationalised Centre (MN MW COE) into the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (NATO MW COE) was supported by a governmental decision and practical assistance from all levels of the government and military.
The NATO MW COE will not only be open to NATO Member States, but also to Partner Nations.[envira-gallery id=”891″]
