Signing of Cooperation Arrangement between NATO MW COE and NATO CWO COE

The Director of the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (MW COE), COL Borut Flajšman, and the Director of the NATO Cold Weather Operations Centre of Excellence (CWO COE), COL Jo Haugom, signed a letter of cooperation, as a basis for long-term cooperation in the field of their primary interest, namely mountain warfare and cold weather operations.

The goal of the Cooperation Arrangement is to make provisions to establish a collaborative environment between the NATO MW COE and the NATO COE CWO in the areas of common interest. This interest includes, in particular, the exchange of experience and good practices, education, training, research and development, based on the principles of reciprocity and mutual benefit.

This document is a “Cap Stone” of the cooperation since the first meeting of the CWO COE Director at MW COE in 2015.
