Visit by the Ambassador of the Ukraine in NATO MW COE

On 24 September 2021, the Ambassador of the Ukraine, H.E. Mykhailo Brodovych accompanied by the UKR Defence Attaché COL Volodymyr Kalitynskyi and Mr. Mitja Miklavec from SVN MOD, paid a visit to the NATO MW COE.

The visit was hosted by the Director of the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (MW COE), COL Borut Flajšman, accompanied by Deputy Director COL Ruggero Cucchini who gave, together with staff members, a short brief on the MW COE, followed by a presentation of the MW COE and possible future cooperation.

H.E. Mykhailo Brodovych emphasized that cooperation with the NATO MW COE will be beneficial for both sides and expressed the expectation that the Ukraine flag will soon join to the MW COE’s nations flags.
