Attending Winter Symposium in Fort Drum
Two members of the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (NATO MW COE), the Deputy Director and the Training and Education Branch Head, are attending the Annual Winter Symposium, held between 29th January and 2nd February, 2018, in Fort Drum, NY, USA.
Fort Drum is the home of the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), its supporting elements and several tenant units.
The main purpose of the Symposium is to discuss the technology, training, doctrine and material capability solutions required to enable forces in Extreme Cold Weather and High Altitude Environments.[envira-gallery id=”1433″]
