Mountain Risk Management Workshop Winter, Integrating UAV Technology for Operations in Mountainous Environment
Aim:
To conduct a workshop with mountain specialists from military mountain units and related civilian organizations, focusing on the Mountain Cell and use of UAV IOT gain insights that will be considered in ATrainP-6, ATP 3.2.1.3, and a separate publication. The end result should be a COA to mitigate risks in a mountainous environment for the troops in the field.
Objectives:
- Identify and assess risks (Mountain Cell)
- Use of UAV to identify and assess risks
- Evaluating risks for own operations
- Risk mitigation measures (e.g. Avalanche blasting with UAV)
- Transport with UAV
Activities:
Workshop and field training.
For this outside activity we will go out in the mountains. Be sure to have the right equipment (skies, avalanche rescue kit, proper clothing etc…). If you need any materials, we can lend them to you. You will find the request option during the registration process next to this section.
Participants:
SME from Mountain Warfare Schools, Mountain Units and experts from Civilian Organizations.
