Expert Visit to the Alpini Meteomont Organisation
The NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (MW COE) delegation paid a working visit to the ALPINI METEOMONT ORGANISATION; Snow and Avalanche Forecast National Military Service, in Bolzano, Italy, between 13th and 15th February, 2017.
The purpose of the visit was to share experiences, knowledge, and ideas related to the Avalanche Risk Management Project conducted by the NATO MW COE. The project’s desired end state is to provide a framework for the Alliance avalanche risk management capability.
The ALPINI METEOMONT ORGANISATION showed a high level of organisation and professionalism and expressed willingness to share experiences and support project development.[envira-gallery id=”1859″]
