Familiarization visit to the Infantry Battalion of the Armed Forces of Montenegro
Members of the Education and Training Branch have conducted a familiarization visit to the Infantry Battalion of the Armed Forces of Montenegro from 26 to 30 September 2016. The activity took place in the mountaineering training areas Gotovuša (Pljevlja) and Pirlitor (Durmitor mountain range), with focus given on exchanging mountaineering expertise between the members of the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (MW COE) and members of the Mountaineering and 2nd Infantry Company.
Many possibilities for the further cooperation between the NATO MW COE and the mountain units of the Armed Forces of Montenegro were established during the visit.[envira-gallery id=”2060″]
