NATO ACT Top Senior Enlisted Leader Visits the NATO MW COE
On invitation by the Command Senior Enlisted Leader of the Slovenian Armed Forces, Command Sergeant Major Igor Tomašič, Allied Command Transformation (ACT) CSEL Command Chief Master Sergant Jack Johnson paid an official visit to the Republic of Slovenia, between 15 and 17 June 2017. Immediately upon arrival in Slovenia, he visited the NATO MW COE, where he was briefed by the Director, Branch Heads and the centre’s CSEL on the current development and work of the COE. In the Q&A session that followed, both sides exchanged their impressions on future possible contributions of the NATO MW COE to Framework for Future Alliance Operations (FFAO) and Strategic Foresigh Analysis (SFA) projects, as well as to the interoperability and standardization of Mountain Warfare within the Alliance and Partners.
The ACT CSEL left the centre with confidence of future successful work of this COE for the Alliance, stating the centre’s effort will “clearly contribute to the peace, security and territorial security for so many Nations”.[envira-gallery id=”1681″]
