Visit from Colorado National Guard
On 15th March, Major General H. Michael Edwards, Colorado’s Adjutant General, accompanied by his staff, and staff members of the U.S. Embassy in Ljubljana, visited the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (NATO MW COE) in Poljče, Slovenia.
After a briefing held by Colonel Boštjan Blaznik, the NATO MW COE Director, a constructive debate developed on future cooperation opportunities. In this context, the visitors expressed their strong support of the NATO MW COE Mission and Vision.
The visit itself was also significant because the USA has the status of Steering Committee Observer.[envira-gallery id=”1819″]
