Visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria
On 25th January, the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Slovenia, H. E. Mag. Sigrid Berka, paid a visit to the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (MW COE) in Poljče, Slovenia.
Following a presentation by the NATO MW COE Director, Colonel Boštjan Blaznik, a fruitful debate revealed and main Centre’s challenges were presented.
In addition to the NATO MW COE Sponsoring Nations, the Republic of Austria as a Contributing Partner is participating in one of the pillars – Doctrine and Standardization Branch – and is playing a prominent role in the NATO MW COE with the main goal to support NATO’s efforts to develop MW-related doctrine and standardization documents.[envira-gallery id=”1931″]
